Founded in 2021, the International Organization for Education and Social Services (IOESS) focuses on helping recent immigrants transition from the educational and professional systems of their home country to those the U.S. The organization provides recent immigrants and refugees with access to resources to aid them in achieving their academic and career goals.
While IOESS is registered with the state of Maryland, it provides services around the country both remotely and through a nationwide network of volunteers.

Ways We Help
Education Programs
Educational Success: Short-term educational sessions, workshops, and one-on-one meetings to support immigrant students as they navigate their transition into the US educational system. Currently, we provide English lessons and career coaching, with plans to include financial literacy and art classes.
Educational Consultation: Assistance with school enrollment, understanding the U.S. educational system, and college applications.
